Satellogic Inc. (NASDAQ: SATL), a leader in high-resolution Earth observation data, and Telespazio Brasil, a subsidiary of Telespazio S.p.A, a global leader in satellite services and a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) have entered into a multi-year agreement with the Brazilian Air Force (Força Aérea Brasileira, FAB) to provide low-latency satellite imagery for defense and security operations within the Brazilian territory. The contract, with an initial one-year term and one-year extension option, underscores Satellogic’s capabilities in delivering timely, mission-critical insights to international defense customers.

Under the agreement, FAB will gain rapid, flexible tasking of Satellogic’s NewSat constellation, enabling prompt delivery of sub-meter imagery to support a range of defense applications. This includes near real-time monitoring, change detection, and increased situational awareness for mission-critical decision-making. FAB will leverage Satellogic’s Aleph platform, a cutting-edge self-service interface that empowers customers to schedule and manage their own imagery collections. This enhanced level of control and customization positions FAB to respond swiftly to evolving conditions, improving operational effectiveness and mission outcomes.

“This agreement represents a significant milestone in strengthening our aerospace operations, granting the Brazilian Air Force access to high-resolution imagery in near real-time. With these advanced capabilities, we will be able to make faster and more effective decisions, ensuring the security of our territory and contributing to technological innovation in the defense sector,” stated Gen. Nogueira, Commander of the Air and Space Operations.

“By equipping FAB with immediate, on-demand access to high-resolution imagery, we are setting a new standard for operational responsiveness and strategic foresight in the defense sector,” said Mark Carmichael, VP of Imagery and Data. “By providing FAB with the Aleph platform, we’re delivering more than incremental improvements—this self-service approach is a transformative advancement that allows governments and organizations to take direct control of their geospatial intelligence. The result is more decisive actions, stronger security outcomes, and ultimately, a more resilient global defense landscape.”

“This agreement reinforces the position of Telespazio Brasil as a premier provider of geospatial services and solutions to the Brazilian Defense,” said Marzio Laurenti, CEO of Telespazio Brasil “The partnership with Satellogic further expands our suite of offerings, ensuring our customers benefit from cutting-edge Earth observation technologies and innovative data delivery models.”
